Canterbury Tour

Glasgow, you were the best way to end our first support tour with the incredible Canterbury last night.

A huge shout out to Luke from Canterbury for joining us on stage for the end of The World We Live In if it wasn’t for that song we wouldn’t even have had the chance to play for all you amazing people every night.

THANK YOU!

Canterbury Tour

We kicked off yesterday with a long drive up to Newcastle and on our arrival we went straight to perform Are We Lost for Newcastle Student Radio.

We then headed to the venue and got ready for the show. We had several technical difficulties during the gig but we pulled through and the crowd was amazing.

We ended the night with pretty much all bands getting this amazing chicken wrap… Words cannot explain.

NEWCASTLE - THANK YOU!

Time for the final show… GLASGOW!

Canterbury Tour

Last night was all about Manchester & as always we were not let down. The Deaf Institute is hands down the nicest looking venue we’ve ever played. After the show all the bands had a few drinks back stage and it was nice to get to know everyone a little bit more.

Next Newcastle….

Birmingham last night was the best show yet, we had a incredible response from the audience so thank you. It was also Sam’s birthday, in total we racked up singing happy birthday to him about 6 times, including once with the whole venue. We also got the app Vine… Keep track of our stupid antics over @ our twitter page.

Now for our second home town… MANCHESTER!!!

Yesterday we played The Garage in London, it was great to be back up on stage playing again, those two days off felt like a life time. The show went really well and was great to see so many people singing along to the tracks from the Are We Lost EP.

Yesterday morning we also sat down with Jason Perry (mcfly, kids in glass houses, the blackout) to show him some new demos, he absolutely loved them so that’s a good start.. New music coming soon!

Till tomorrow…

Not much happened yesterday, all we got round to doing was signing a spanking new management deal with Trashed Management. We are beyond excited to have these guys on the morain team and to start pushing forward with the band.

Now back to playing music….

Yesterday was another day off for us whilst Canterbury played Hit The Deck Festival. We made our way to London then got taken to a new place called “Bounce”. Which is simply a restaurant/table tennis arena!! Hundreds of people just playing table tennis, we grabbed some food then hit the table. Brilliant way to spend a day off. Tomorrow, Boris Bikes…

Day #2 of tour was sadly spent without Canterbury as they were off playing hit the deck festival. We decided to book a last minute show in Southampton at The Cellar. All we can say is, awesome venue and even more so, amazing burgers. Wil did a few press interviews for both the universities and we had a really great show. Then we went back to the hotel and Sam made another one of his mind blowing vegetarian wraps….

2 days in London now planning the next two years of this band… Exciting times ahead.

Day one of tour kicked off in Bournemouth last night. Despite the van leaking water everywhere, a 5 hour drive down south and a ton of technical issues on stage, we still had a great first show. Bring on London….

Final tour rehearsals before we head out with Canterbury visiting… Bournemouth, Southampton (not a tour show), London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. You don’t want to miss this……
